The default settings for software update on my 55w9 was 03.00 i guess your's is similar and that is whats happening ,as the update goes through an on/off cycle when updating.You can turn this off and if it still happens then a timer event has been set,

I've no issue with this app on my device maybe this could be a internet connection issue,also update software and or reset device if not already done.

The SRS-BTV5 does not work with this tv either through NFC or bluetooth nor does the SRS-BTV25 through bluetooth.I've got a HT-AS5 system connected to mine with this there is an option to enable the rear speakers to be connected wirelessly

When i switch this tv on it does not always recognise the hdmi connection to a sony HT-AS5 surround system and therefore no audio.The cable is a sony one which is good ,tried others same fault .Now this is only on startup and is intermmittant easily solved by switching off and then on again. The hdmi connection is on hdmi port 1 which is ARC,I don't know if anyone else has had an issue similar to this ?

Could be a slow internet connection and this is the default message, ie just times itself out what set up have you got ? I can't replicate this with a download speed of between 17-20mbps at different times of day

THese connections are embedded in this model and you would not be able to remove them,and as the sockets are physically on the device you still need this option.

The BBCI player works through the chrome browser,but the audio drops out now i don't know if this this was because of the programme i was playing or some other issue.None of the others work through the browser and i have not seen any apps for these sites either.

I've got some MDR6500 headphones connected to the same tv and have not had any fault like this,there is'nt anything causing interference or a faulty cable?

Nice idea but not only is it software but processing,ram,multi layer pcb's,heat distribution and as Bravia55HX923 say's the device would cost a fortune.Not only that but would you have a pvr with removable HDD what about DRM'S.Like i say a very nice idea but it's never going to happen.

Not only that but BT openzone is for subscribers that are already bt broadband customers or have it included in any mobile contract ,so my point is why would you want to connect to an unsecured network when you would already have a secured connection in place.This device is only for a local wireless network not for an application that allows you to connect to a network that does'nt eat through your 3G data plan.

All this adaptor does is enable a wireless connection between tv and router,it does'nt have any apps or widgets embedded in it.If bbc iplayer is not working then maybe try to refresh internet content on tv

The nsz-gs7 is designed to work inbetween a cable/satellite box and a tv ,the reason you get this message is because as you state you do not have sky or cable and therefore nothing is connected to the hdmi input on the device. So when you go to live tv icon there is no signal nothing wrong with the device,all the services you see are internet based and these work.See if you can borrow a sky box connect to hdmi in on nsz -gs7 and you will see what i mean,you won't be able to use the picture in picture feature either as there is no signal in.If i press live tv and don't take the sky box out of standby i get same message as you.

Not all android apps work with google tv even though you maybe able to download them,they have to be optimized by the developer to work on this device

Have you connected a sky/freeview box to the nsz-gs7 ?. If so and you have set it up correctly you need to turn on the attached device using either the remote for the attached device or the sony remote,second row of keys left one.

According to Google play store uk this app is not compatible with this device,and using the on board browser for the nsz gs7 Sling Player does'nt even show up.

I use a smart panel that has 2 master sockets that are always on and the others power the rest of the devices such as blu ray player etc.When the tv is connected to one of the master skts and is switched on the rest of the devices are powered up at that time, and vice versa when tv is switched off. Even doing this there is some power supplied,as you point out to get round this situation you would need to switch off the mcb at the consumer panel so that nothing is powered on.

Maybe check model and manual to see if there is a setting that needs altering.Does the tv find the NSZ correctly when it's directly connected to the tv. When the tv is switched off is the correct hdmi input selected for this device ?

you can also use a ethernet cable depending how far your tv is away from your router

press HOME

tab left to SETTINGS

tab down to NETWORK

select NETWORK SETUP

select wired setup or wireless setup

follow on screen instructions.

When your'e browsing using chrome the internet connection keeps being lost ? Try these steps

Reset router

Go into settings on google tv

Go to Network

Wi-Fi should show as being connected to your router (if not make sure box is checked)

Check status

If nothing shows go Add Wi-Fi network and input network key in again under security you have 3 options choose the correct one, your router should have these details.

Also if you're using a wireless connection try a wired one to see if problem occur's

Reset google tv and restart process you originally did to connect internet.

Check for updates for router,google tv and any box you may have attached to google tv.

I'havn't put these steps in any order

Apps can only be moved to external storage if the developer allows the app to be moved.

you can also bluetooth photo's to tablet and connect via usb cable and send them across.This is even quicker than using sd card.

Sony do make good accesories and with the keyboard it makes for useful pc.Paired keyboard with nsz and use controller as a mouse for big screen browsing.

Here is how i connect my sony tablet SGPT12 to a sony 4HX803 and 32EX503 using the SGP-DS3 sony docking stand and connected to the charger this works every time.I'm guessing that you have the SGP-HC1 cable attached ? Just a silly thought is the HDMI cable fully inserted in the tablet and TV.See attached JPEG

The PS3 should auto detect 3D signal when the disc is inserted ,try directly connecting to tv without sony sound bar and see if it works. I have a sony HT-AS5 and this is not compatible with SKY maybe this is the same issue for you. You say that you've played a DVD try a 3D blu ray and see if this works.

Format the usb stick to make sure there is absolutely nothing on there and then download and then open file and send to usb stick
