My Bloggie uploads video with out of sync audio

Hi,

Bloggie (MHS-FS1)

I've just been to a concert and have some videos of parts of it. My problem is when I upload the videos to my computer, the audio and the video are out of sync; quite considerably. The video will carry on playing long past the audio has finished and even when the video timer has said it's finished.

I have the latest firmware (1.17) and the latest Bloggie Software 1.3 (3.3.1.73). I have also checked that all my video playback programs (Windows Media Player/Zune/QuickTime) are up to date also.

The video and audio appear to be correctly synced on the bloggie itself.

Bloggie Software update

Since downloading and installing the software update, there is a gray toolbar across the top of the window blasnking out icons. There are two buttons, one a settings and other + to add plugins, both do nothing, any ideas?? Also it cannot be deleted.

cant upload to facebook

can anybody help i have been trying to upload photos to facebook using the bloggie software for over 3 weeks and all i get is an error message and then it logs into facebook but doesnt share the pictures i even gave a sony tech remote access to my computer and he couldnt fix the problem....any ideas???

Camera Lenses

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. I have a problem with my Sony Bloggie.

When I turn it on, it is sometimes really out of focus and blurred and zoomed in and nothing I do can change it BUT othertimes it works a treat, I found out last night that this is because the lense itself has "become loose" and is just moving backwards and forwards hence why it is out of focus and then in focus, however for it to become in focus you have to tilt the camera forward which brings the lense forwards but I'm worried that in the long term of doing this, it will break the camera. Any thoughts on how to repair it?

Bloggie software update - grey toolbar

Hi. This is not an isolated problem, I have exactly the same. Grey toolbar partially obscuring top icons (but can still use) 2 buttons on it; one says 'manage toolbar settings' but does nothing; the other says something about getting further apps but also does nothing. I have tried installing the PlayMemoriesHome but it is still the same.

My bloggie MHS-TS10 is 3 months old. Suddenly it won't turn on, and flashes orange when plugged into PC. Nothing in manual says what a flashing orange light means? It might have gotten cold - there was snow outside where I had it. But its been warm since and in airing cupboard in case condensation.

I've had this bloggie (TS10) for about two years. It had sat for about 6 months and when i went to use it it wouldnt turn on. figured it need a charge. Charged it all day and then it sitll wouldnt turn on.

Im not sure what to do with it, ive even gotten a replacement battery for it and when i plug it in to charge the light blinks orange once (this is after taking the battery out and putting it back in, if i do not remove the battery and unplug it from the usb and then plug it back in, nothing happens) and nothing.

Any ideas what may wrong?

I bought bloggie in the USA, what about warranty in the Europe ?

HD bloggie wont record film saying internal memory is full- but it isnt! Any ideas?

Hi all,

I am having a hard time working on whats going on with my bloggie.

it says my internal memory is full when i have deleted everything and formatted the internal memory when memory card is out, and also formatted the memory card when in.

I have zero images on the bloggie but it still says its full. Are there any tricks for sorting this out?

Audio & Video out of sync!

My Bloggie Duo MHS-FS2 has a audio & Video sync issue. Playback on device & PC is out of sync.

I have tried to update the software even but it doesnt update either...

Bloggie sport issues

We have recently purchased a Bloggie Sport. While impressed with the picture and video quality, there are a some issues that might make us send it back.

1. The last few seconds of recording are not saved. For instance if we are recording someone speaking and press stop at the end of the sentence, the last two or three words won't be saved.

2. Over a two hour period of recording today, we had to hard reset it (hold power for 7 seconds) 4 or 5 times after it refused to switch on. Not good for a device designed to record spontaneous moments.

3. Finally the battery life is disappointing.

Is anyone else experiencing these problems? If so, the first two issues should be correctable with a firmware update and possible the third as well. Is there any news when an update is due?

If it's just us, then maybe we have a bad unit and should get it replaced.

I have just bought the sony bloggie and it is not registering on my computer when I connect the USB.

Can someone help please? The orange light beside the on/off button is flashing but there is no indication on the screen of the camera OR in 'my computer' that the USB is connected.

Sound and video sync problem

When I play back recordings the sound is delayed by 10 seconds or more. I have upgraded formware to 1.05 but the problem persists. Can you please advise how I can fix this?

Battery not charging properly

Hi I've had my bloggie since Nov 2011. When I try to charge the battery it seems to work ok, light starts off orange, then goes out once charged - but when I try to use it there is virtually no battery life. This happens whether or not I use the usb extension. Is there an update I need or can I get a replacement battery as it's less than a year old?

Bloggie 3D MHSFS3 and Andriod OTG

I can only see the MHSFS3 first drive (partition?) using USB OTG on my ICS Android tablet if I set LUN to 'single'. Set to 'multi' I get the 2nd drive only. Is this ICS or Android only? On my PC (XP) both drives/partitions show with LUN as 'multi'.

horizontal shot film appearing as vertical

I have bloggie TS10. Shot my first film this afternoon using horizontal mode. When downloaded to my computer and trying to view on software, this film appears in vertical position. I cannot find any way to rotate it 90deg to show the way I shot it. At my wits' end. Can anyone help?

I have had my bloggie since Xmas , but just decided to take photos with it .... i tried using the "Camera" button ... teh picture goes into focus theres a little, flashing green circle in the top left hand sid eof the screen but it does take a picture ..... the video capture is fine - What im i doing wrong ?

I have a mac book pro running Mac OS X Lion version 10.7.1

I seem to be having an interesting problem when synch my bloggie videos with iphoto and play them back they are choppy and stick at certain points. This must be a software issue as they stick at different points in the same video when you play them back a number of times. Iphoto playback is via Quicktime 10.

I have Quick Time 7 on my lap top and they play fine in quicktime 7. So I can only presume this is a compatibility issue with Quicktime 10 which is part of Lion?

Any other ideas?

Bloggie Sport Software - Where is it?

I just got a spanky new Bloggie Sport however there seems to be no software compatible with it. On the set-up page at www.sony.net/start/bloggie it just says 'Coming Soon'. I tried install the PhotoMemory software for the Live camera but it doesn't recognise the camera when I connect it to the PC.

Can you please release the software Sony now that you have released the camera? It would seem your timings are out.

Having just got my Sony Bloggie yesterday and installed Playmemories which appeared for the Bloggie Sport today I still cannot get the program to pick it up. It tells me to connect the camera I used when installing the software. I have tried this but nothing happens even if I click Retry. I looked under devices in control panel and under 'disk drives' there is an entry SONY MHS USB Drive so the PC does know it is connected. However it is not recognising it as either a drive or a camera. I have tried installing update to date drivers as I suspect that is the problem but to no avail. I suspect Sony need to release a new one. For info I am running windows vista.

Can anyone help? Does anyone from Sony monitor these forums? Is there a direct support email I can use?

Bloggie Software instal issues

I bought a Bloggie Touch today and am trying to install the software.

It gets so far and appears to have installed and says starting, but then i get directed to a google chrome page that says

" google chrome could not connect to localhost:2468"

then nothing.

I've tried un-installing it and re-installing (both with and without an internet connection) but get the same error message everytime.

I'm using a Vaio with Vista.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Sony Watcher Utility, can't stop it loading in Win7 systray, please?

Hello Members

I'd like to stop the the ' Sony Watcher utility' from starting up, if i right click over the icon in the systray and the 'settings', then uncheck the box that stops it loading at windows startup, i find when restarting the computer it still loaded into the systray.

If i then check through Sony 'watchers' utility settings again, i find that this start up setting has remained uncheck, is this a known problem, and is there a patch or fix? or, can the Bloggie software be installed without the 'Sony watcher utility' part?

I'd do not wish to make a change in the Windows 7 'msconfig' startup file to stop it loading, given what i think is a buggy part of Sony's sytem driver software, but would rather the utility not be on the system at all.

Any help, suggestions or advice would be appreciated, and it anyone else has this problem please post.
