Hi,
I want to know where the leds are located at 40 HX720. Up, down, only down, left and right? Where? Also is there any kind of dimming? If yes, what type? How many zones? Because Hx750 has frame dimming and I think that HX750 leds are only down.

The 40HX720 is a Dynamic Edge LED...which means that LED are all around the frame. Up, down, left & right
It also has a local frame dimming feature for the LED around the screen
Dynamic Edge LED are HX750 & HX850 also but they don't have all around the leds...
That's not because you can't see the LED that they are not there
I saw a teardown HX850 in Sony HQ..and I can assure you that there are LED ALL AROUND the frame
HX850 has leds at left and right sides, only!
techlove, I just had confirmation from Sony that LED in the HX
850 are only on the vertical sides...I guess I saw a mock up but not final products...
