Hi All

I have bought the Sony BDV-E380 home entertainment system which comes with ipod/iphone dock. However the player support in software is really poor. I have the latest firmware as of 15/06/2012.

1. Iphone interface is disabled and needs to be controlled from the blue-ray player. So TV must remain on.

2. While song is playing you cannot browse to next song as playback stops.

3. Finding and searching for songs is very limited. No shuffle support. Also having 10000 songs listed alphabetically is not that helpful.

In contrast in my car I have Sony MEX-BT3900U which has amazing Iphone support. Music can be controlled via SONY or iphone interface whether connected via USB or Bluetooth.

Are there any known workarounds to get decent iphone support on E380? I was wondering if there is a bluetooth dongle which might do what I want? Are there anyfixes in the pipeline for upcoming releases which will address this?
