Hi guys

I have a new Sony Vaio Sa Series Laptop with a 500 GB Serial ATA currently installed.

Im looking to take out the Dvd drive and replace it with a caddy which can accomodate an SSD.

Question is, how easy is it to make the built in Serial ATA Redundant and make the SSD the primary drive ( for boot and Storage)?

Is this possible? Or Do i have to physically take the built in hard drive out?

Thanks for your time

I think it is only possible if you are going to remove your HDD and replace it with SSD.
