here's the link to where i read

 

that all vaio displays/screens are scratch resistant;i'm just seeking confirmation on that statement,this issue is very important to me.

    That will actually depends on what type of object and how hard it scratches the monitor. I may say that this works on minor scratches.

    protection against minor scratches is better than nothing,but are all vaio models resistant to "minor" scratches?

    and how minor is "minor" ?

    Hi randomfellow.

     

    In the link you provide it says "... scratch resistance on all models." 

     

    It is the same on the UK website.

    Although all screens are designed to be scratch resistant, I think you should understand that if you scratch the screen, it will be considered physical damage and will not be covered by the Sony Warranty.

    i see,well,as long as displays on all models are in fact scratch resistant;because to my knowledge,no other brand has any sort of scatch-resistance on all its models.
