Rispetto alla Sony A7R : le vibrazioni e il rumore dell'otturatore si sono notevolmente ridotti (è elettronica la prima tendina), eccellente il funzionamento del sistema antivibrazioni sui 5 assi con qualsiasi tipo di obiettivo originale e non, migliorata l'ergonomia, migliorata la sensazione percepita di qualità e robustezza, l'apparecchio è più pronto alla ripresa sia per l'accensione più pronta che per messa a fuoco più veloce. Il numero di pixel (24 invece di 36 milioni) seppure ridotto, è ampiamente sufficiente per qualsiasi lavoro professionale e paradossalmente funziona meglio con gli obiettivi meno performanti, che soffrono il sensore esigente della A7R. La qualità dello jpeg è migliorata così come quella del video, ma manca il 4K (sarà possibile implementarlo con un nuovo firmware?). La durata della batteria è insufficiente : è necessario fornirsi di più batterie supplementari ,ma batterie che sono in comune con la serie nex e 7. Le ottiche originali sono poche, di eccellente qualità, ma mediamente più costose di quelle della concorrenza. Si tratta del corpo più universale e di qualità più alta per rivitalizzare, con opportuni anelli adattatori, TUTTE le vecchie ottiche in possesso dell'appassionato di fotografia.

Schlechter Autofokus - Finger weg!

Schon nach Kauf traten mit Original Objektiven Autofokus-Probleme auf. Habe die Kamera eingeschickt, "der Fehler konnte aber nicht reproduziert werden". Alle Kollegen in meiner Foto Crew wundern sich über die schlechten Aufnahmen. Selbst wirkliche Profis. Scheinbar funktioniert die Kamera in Testlaboren aber spitze. Akkus in kürzester Zeit leer - habe drei Akkus für eine mittlere Phototour dabei. Kann die Kamera nicht empfehlen und werde sie wieder verkaufen. Mein bester Freund hat die Alpha 7MIII, da wurde die Schwäche wohl behoben.

From SLT to Mirrorless.

I bought the Alpha 7 ii to enter the world of full frame mirrorless, but still wanted to use my existing A mount lenses. Although I bought 3 differnt adapters the most annoying message is " Not with this lens " and as 90% of my A mount lenses are Sony or Minolta, I do not understand why? So I bit the bullet and bought a full frame E mount lens and the camera and lens came to life, and the learning curve has begun. When I get it right the images are superb, tack sharp and vibrant colour, hense the 5 stars, it will be some time before I understand the full capability of the camera, the menus are very comprehensive and the user manual not very forthcoming. In the interim I have found the art of using my A frame lenses as mostly manual, and this works as well.

Dysfonctionnement boutons / molette boitier A7ii

J’ai acheté ce produit pour moi « haut de gamme », il y a 4 ans , et depuis hier les boutons , molettes ne fonctionnent plus ou de manière aléatoire avec parfois les menus qui défilent tous seul! . L’appareil est inutilisable et m’empêche de l’utiliser . Je pense être précautionneux et protège mon boitier autant que je peux ! Beaucoup de commentaires sûr des problèmes similaires sont mentionnés sur le web. Sans avoir identifié de préconisation de Sony sur le sujet. J’entends parler de problèmes de connections au niveaux des nappes de câblage internes. Etant hors garantie, je m’inquiète â l’idée d’engager des frais importants pour une éventuelle réparation ! J’aimerais connaître la position de Sony sur ce problème avec une réponse commerciale appropriée. Merci pour votre écoute, en espérant vous lire rapidement. Bien cordialement

Vor ca. einem Monat habe ich das Fotoapparat mit 2 Objektiven gekauft. Die Kamera macht sehr viel Spaß: sie ist vielseitig, kompakt, schnell, zuverlässig. Ich mache gern Nachtfotografie und auch in der Nacht macht die Kamera richtig gute Bilder.

The camera is great. But extremely limited compared to other brands/models. For e.g it doesn’t have the timelapse option as you have to download the app separately, and the app has been discontinued for no apparent reasons. Similar to this, a series of in-camera app are discontinued and you’d have to buy a separate intervalometer and all.

Ho 5 Sony, e quindi vuol dire che questo brand l'adoro. Questa per me resta una delle migliori macchine fotografiche, anche se già con la mk1 ho fatto delle ottime foto, questa ha una marcia in più. Logico, sono consapevole che ce ne sono di migliori, ma per me è più che sufficente, e la consiglio dato che adesso si trova con ottime offerte dato che ormai è abbastanza datata come modello.

... und bestens für Hobbyfotografen geeignet. Die Alpha 7 ii überzeugt auch heute noch mit tadelloser Verarbeitung und herausragender Bildqualität. Die Features für Videografie sind veraltet und wenn dies wichtig ist, sind die neueren Alphas dafür besser geeignet. Sie ist perfekt old-school zu bedienen. Die wichtigsten Funktionen sind über die Steuerräder direkt aufrufbar. Individuell belegbare Tasten kompensieren den fehlenden, nicht notwendigen Touchscreen. Das Menu ist umfassend und die Alpha 7 ii lässt sich für jedes fotografische Bedürfnis anpassen. Und das Wichtigste: Mittlerweile gibt es gute bis sehr gute Gläser von Drittanbietern mit AF und ohne AF. Kaufempfehlung!

The Sony A7 II is a fantastic full-frame mirrorless camera that brilliantly balances performance, versatility, and affordability. As someone who enjoys cityscapes and architectural photography, I believe this camera has proven to be an excellent choice, delivering consistently sharp and detailed images with its 24.3 MP sensor. The 5-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is a game-changer, especially for handheld shots, providing a noticeable difference in stability and reducing the risk of blur in low-light conditions or longer exposures. One of the standout features of the A7 II is its dynamic range, which captures impressive detail in both highlights and shadows, making it easier to work with scenes that have high contrast or challenging lighting. The autofocus system is fast and accurate, with improvements over the original A7, and while it may not be the fastest on the market by today’s standards, it performs well for general photography, especially for subjects that are relatively static, like buildings and landscapes. The camera’s ergonomics are another plus. Its solid, well-built body feels comfortable to hold, and the buttons and dials are intuitively placed, making it easy to adjust settings on the go. Battery life, while not the longest, is manageable with a few spare batteries, which is a common trade-off in mirrorless systems. Overall, the Sony A7 II is a reliable and capable camera for those looking for excellent image quality in a compact, feature-rich body, and it continues to be a popular choice for photographers looking to step into full-frame without breaking the bank.

J'ai acheté cet appareil photo à un prix concequant et , je l'ai choisi pour ses qualités et performances. Au bout d'un moment il m'a été impossible de m'en servir. Impossible de rentrer dans le menu, de lire les photos avec la flèche et le bouton validation totalement inopérant. Le prix pour la réparation n'est même envisageable ; Soit j'arrête de faire de la photo, soit j'utilise mon téléphone

Having used all manner of cameras from the humble Practica to digital Nikon; Lumix and many others I find the Alpha 7 ii has a sturdy, reliable feel and the menus system is one of the best I have used as many others are too complicated for fast photography. Its kit lens 28-70 3.5- 5.6 is one of the most surprising lenses for quality that I have seen top marks . There is just one niggle!! the noisy shutter as it goes off with quite a whack no doubt fixed in later versions. Overall a great buy and a great camera even taking in its thirst for power from its small battery. I understand this is not a problem in later models

Great value for money

I bought my camera on an amazon prime day deal for below £800 for the camera and kit lens. For a 10yo camera it is still very capable despite lacking some of the modern niceties such as a fully articulated rear display etc. It’s video capabilities are also somewhat dated with no ability to shoot in 4k, however, for someone like me, who wants this pretty much for photos only it’s 24.3Mp full frame sensor is more than capable. I would argue its practically unbeatable at this price. It doesn’t have some of the frills of the latest cameras but for someone who’s new to photography and wants a camera mostly for photos. I would say it’s very user friendly, compact in size and the accessories you need to use it effectively such as spare batteries & SD cards are pretty cheap as far as camera accessories go. I am really happy with my purchase.

Vor knapp 3 Wochen gekauft, mit etwas Zeit kann man in kurzer Zeit sehr viel aus der Alpha 7ii raus holen ohne ein richtiger Profi Fotograf zu sein. Das online Handbuch sehr einfach zu lesen und auch einfach an der Kamera umzusetzen, das E-Mount verschlusssytem ist bei den erstmalen bisschen kompliziert aber nach der Zeit hat man Übung darin. Bin absolut zufrieden und freu mich auf die nächsten Ausflüge mit der Kamera

E' la mia compagna da una decina di anni... Mai avuto un problema serio, ancora oggi tiene botta: autofocus preciso e veloce anche con poca luce, qualità di immagine impressionante anche ad alti iso. Ovviamente oggi si trovano alternative più performanti ma si trovano a ottimi prezzi e la qualità è sempre alta.

Il mio corredo fotografico principale è rappresentato dal sistema M di Leica. Ho voluto aggiungere una fotocamera mirrorless sempre rigorosamente FullFrame ad un prezzo oggi contenuto con la Sony A7M2 che mi da’ tra le altre cose anche l’opportunità di usare le mie ottiche manuali, Leica M, Canon FD ed Angenieux con appositi adattatori. Essendo abituato a prodotti di alta qualità ero partito un po’ scettico, ma sono rimasto molto impressionato dalla resa della fotocamera, colori, resa, rumore elettronico contenuto, stabilizzazione anche con ottiche manuali e di altre marche. Veramente un gran prodotto dai risultati eccellenti che faccio fatica a parità di ottica, a distinguere dagli scatti delle altre fotocamere non certo economiche. Uniche pecche a mio avviso, ma di secondaria importanza: batterie che durano poco e faragginositá dei menu che dovrebbero essere impostati più verso i parametri della fotografia che verso tante funzioni che poi alla fine poco hanno a che vedere con il risultato meramente fotografico. Comunque sono talmente soddisfatto che ho subito acquistato anche la mia prima lente Sony: FE 24-105 f.4 G OSS, ed anche in questo caso sono rimasto veramente impressionato dalla ottima resa.

Enjoying the kit

I bought this camera three weeks ago and so far I’m enjoying the experience it’s a well built camera and feels solid in the hand at first I thought my large hands would cause me an issue when using but it’s not been the case, the picture quality is excellent and with my settings set to raw this camera is really exceptional when talking about editing, one small bug bear for me is the lens shade which could have a better fit , it’s fallen off several times. The camera is easy to use and although I read that it’s sluggish on continuous shooting mode I have not found this to be the case. The controls are easy to access as are the menus all in all it’s a winner

Perfetta per paesaggi

Non sono un'esperta ma a mio parere e una macchina fotografica che va benissimo utilizzata per paesaggi o shooting con soggetti statici. Personalmente faccio macro fotografia, qualche paesaggio e anche qualche ritratto e non mi ha mai deluso, ovviamente il tracking non è ai livelli di a7iii a7iv ( che possiedo), ma se acquistata facendo conto dei pregi e limiti non si rimane delusi. Ottimi colori, buono il recupero di zone in ombra e luci alte. Consiglio l'uso con Sony 16-35 e Sony 24-70 2.8 Nonostante l'età a mio parere rimane al momento una delle ff con un costo minimo e con delle caratteristiche che molte altre macchine fotografiche non hanno.

Da ich Umsteiger vom Canon System bin, fällt mir das Handling, Einstellungen, Umschaltung von Sucher auf Display usw. noch recht schwer. Das hatte ich bei meiner EOS6D besser im Griff und war so meine ich schneller zu finden. Aber...jeder Anfang ist schwer.

Ho comprato questa fotocamera cercando un'alternativa alla mia amatissima Leica D LUX 7, purtroppo da me dimenticata in un taxi di Lisbona. Purtroppo non è più in produzione. Nulla può essere paragonabile all'incredibile Summilux 24-75 e alla sua luminosità. È vero però che i primi risultati con la mia nuova Sony Alfa sono soddisfacenti. Solo il tempo potrà dirmi fino a che punto riuscirà a compensare la grave assenza di Leica D LUX 7.

comprata due settimane fa impressione eccellente per qualità delle immagini e struttura della macchina molte funzioni ancora da scoprire. autofocus ok, ma non sono interessato a foto sportive e in movimento obiettivo kit 28-70 onesto ma ho acquistato l' 85 mm 1.8 (vi farò sapere)

Sono passato da una alpha 6000 a questa full frame, veramente un bel prodotto mi piace praticamente tutto io faccio al 99% foto quindi il display non ribaltabile non mi da problemi anzi, mi trovo benissimo con tutti i tasti e anche con tutte le personalizzazioni possibili, se devo trovare un paio di cose direi, anche se come detto non faccio molti video, sarebbe bello magari tramite aggiornamento frimware la possibilità di registrare in 4k e cosa che su una macchina del genere manca è il secondo slot della scheda sim. In definitiva io mi trovo veramente bene e se uno non necessita di video in 4k per le poche differenze in ambito foto la consiglio vivamente visto il fatto che essendo uscite altri modelli questa è scesa un po' di prezzo quindi la reputo un vero affare.

Solid build quality let down by stiff dials

Struggling to use the scroll wheels (mostly the front one) when making manual adjustments. I have large hands, so reach isn’t an issue.. simply that they are way too tight compared to my other / previous cameras. Otherwise the camera is up to the job

Quality camera, poor battery, lack of instructions

This was a replacement for an earlier Sony Alpha camera. It has improved specs and a wide range of quality lenses. The latest price made the purchase decision obvious. On the design, it has a small development from earlier models. More of the fittings and buttons are now plastic rather than metal giving a concern that these won't last. Sony spare parts have only been available for a restricted time. Sony have reduced the battery size to give a lighter camera. This means that the battery doesn't last long. The previous Sony Alphas lasted several days of use, and kept its charge for several weeks. This model lasts no more than three hours - probably less if you use the video function. You will need to buy a stock of spare batteries to last you through the day. The camera clearly has much functionality. The biggest downside is that the instruction manual doesn't explain the purpose of the various functions. It merely gives mechanistic steps to apply a function but you don't know what will happen if you follow them. The camera probably can deliver much more than you know about which is a great pity and wasted opportunity.

Purtroppo a 80000 scatti l otturatore si é bloccato fuori garanzia, in teoria doveva durare almeno x 200000 scatti !!! Il costo di riparazione esagerato per 100 € IN PIÙ né ho comprato un altra di seconda mano con 14000 scatti.

Read many reviews saying the camera is heavy, but when you marry it with quality, heavy lenses like the Sony 90mm Macro and the Sony 24-105mm G OSS zoom the weight, and therefore the balance, becomes a marriage made in heaven. I can't see me ever getting divorced from this camera, unless at some point I turn it in for a younger model of much the same.

Full frame of - image stabilization - compact body

I purchased this camera because I wanted a full frame camera that wasn't going to break the bank . Also Sony make an adapter for my Minolta A mount lenses but I can also purchase and use E mount if I choose to . A really portable mirror less image stabilized camera body . And more importantly it takes great pictures in any light .

Ich brauchte einen Nachfolger für meine alte DSLR (anderer Hersteller) und wollte zudem auf Vollformat umsteigen. Mit der 7 II konnte ich ein Schnäppchen machen und bin absolut zufrieden mit meiner Kaufentscheidung. Den ersten Test musste die Kamera direkt im Urlaub absolvieren. Die Ergebnisse sind tadellos. Einziger kleiner "Kritikpunkt" ist eventuell das sehr umfangreiche Menü, das für meine Begriffe intuitiver sein könnte. Manche Einstellung musste ich etwas länger suchen, aber das kann natürlich auch an der Gewohnheit liegen. Ich würde die Alpha 7 II definitiv wieder kaufen.

Mon second a7II en 8 ans. Le premier fonctionne toujours comme une horloge, 245 000 déclenchements, régulièrement en haute montagne, dans l'humidité, le froid... Un vrai tank! Pourquoi un second? Au prix où il est proposé, impossible de résister. Un 24x36 à ce prix, à cette qualité, c'est parfait!
