Ich habe die A7RIII refurbished gekauft, zu einem guten Preis, da meine A7RII - die viel genutzt wurde - reparaturbedürftig wurde und ich eine Kamera für die Hochzeit meiner Tochter brauchte. Die Verbesserungen gegenüber der A7RII weiß ich sehr zu schätzen und 42 mp reichen mir vollauf. Besonders begrüße ich die Leistung des Autofokus auch bei geringerer Lichmenge, da ich das Telezoom 70-200 F4 Macro besitze und mit dem Konverter auf eine Anfangsblende von 8 komme. Die schwächeren Akkus der RII haben mich nicht sehr gestört, aber der größer der A7RIII ist wesentlich bequemer. Wegen des hohen Preises des Originalakkus habe ich noch keinen zweiten angeschafft. Das wird aber noch kommen.

Had this camera for nearly a month, really pleased. Having a A7C also makes operating the new one much easier, setting up and using them are very similar. Plus I also have a number of FE lens which I can use with both.

Ich nutze die Sony ILCE-7RM3 als zentrales Arbeitsgerät für meine Fotografie und bin nach wie vor überzeugt. Die Bildqualität ist herausragend – enorme Detailtiefe, sehr gute Dynamik und zuverlässige Farben, auch bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen. Der Autofokus ist präzise und schnell, die Kamera arbeitet insgesamt ruhig und verlässlich. Besonders schätze ich, dass sie kein „Show-Produkt“ ist, sondern ein solides Werkzeug für Menschen, die bewusst fotografieren. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, die Bedienung logisch, und auch bei längeren Sessions bleibt sie angenehm in der Hand. Für Fine-Art-, Architektur- und Landschaftsfotografie ist sie für mich nach wie vor eine exzellente Wahl. Kurz gesagt: Eine Kamera, die nicht im Weg steht, sondern die eigene Arbeit unterstützt.

Ich habe lange recherchiert ob ich die A7R IV oder V kaufen soll aber meine Recherchen haben ergeben das die III, für mich, vollkommen ausreichend ist. Wer mit Sony Kameras vertraut ist wird kein Probleme mit dem Menü haben. Die Qualität der Bilder ist hervorragend.

J'ai eu pas mal de réflex numériques et un boitier Fuji XT avant. Si je commence par le point un peu négatif, ce serait l'ergonomie des menus du Sony. Ce n'est pas une légende urbaine, les menus sont pénibles, touffus....Mais les critiques s'arrêtent là. Le boiter lui même est étonnamment compact pour un tel capteur, très similaire finalement au Fuji XT4 que j'avais avant (mais peut être un peu en deçà niveau qualité de construction). La qualité des photos, avec de bonnes optiques, est juste exceptionnelle. Même en zoomant à 100% dans les images, ce qui représente une impression gigantesque, les détails sont riches, les images sont belles, colorées, contrastées... La latitude des RAW est impressionnante, on peut vraiment aller chercher beaucoup dans les ombres ou les hautes lumières. L'autofocus est lui aussi exceptionnel. Super rapide, super précis. La batterie est très solide et permet de prendre vraiment beaucoup de photos avant de devoir recharger, c'est très impressionnant par rapport à ce que j'ai pu connaitre avant. Je n'ai pas fait de vidéo avec, donc je ne me prononce par sur la vidéo. La variante "R" des A7 est de toutes façons plus orientée photo que vidéo (cf la variante S dans ce cas), bien que l'A7R3a soit capable de faire de belles vidéos aussi. Petit bémol également, étant amateur de poses longues, je trouve très frustrant la limitation du temps d'exposition à 30sec avant de devoir recourir au mode bulb. Souvent avec des filtres en début ou fin de journée on peut atteindre 1 ou 2 minute d'exposition, et ça aurait été vraiment appréciable de pouvoir aller jusqu'à 2min d'expo sans avoir à recourir à un déclencheur externe. Sur Fuji c'est le cas par exemple, c'est juste de la configuration logicielle en plus. Je lui donne une note de 5/5 car pour moi les 2 principaux points sont la qualité d'image et l'autofocus. Ces 2 points sont ceux qui comptent vraiment pour sortir une très belle photo, le reste c'est surtout de l'agrément et de l'ergonomie.

Bisher mit anderen Herstellern eigentlich zufrieden aber die Sony 7Rm3 musste ich mir dann doch zulegen. Überrascht wie präzise der Autofokus auch bei wenig Licht funktioniert und die ausgesprochen gute Lowlightergebnisse haben voll überzeugt.

I love the speed of the auto focus on this camera and the eye recognition. I had the a7rii before and this is a worthwhile step up for me.

Eigentlich müsste man diese Kamera nicht mehr bewerten. Sie ist in Sachen Bildqualität bei DXO Labs verdient bei den besten fünf. Mit höchster Fertigungs-Qualität, dem Retro-Design, der Handlichkeit bei Vollformat und lückenloser optischer Objektivpalette ist Sony seit Jahren immer eine Wahl, die man nie bereuen wird.

I bought this camera about six months ago to try and improve my astrophotography. This is my first mirrorless full-frame camera and I was dubious about changing from my previous APS-C Pentax K30 DSLR because it entailed also buying new lenses. I'm not sure if my astrophotography has improved significantly (much depends on technique), but particularly for landscapes and wildlife photography, the resolution allows me to zoom in (crop) the image seemingly infinitely! Because of this I have been able to make do with only two lenses so far: Sony 20mm f1.8G and Sony 85mm f1.8. These are both top-notch lenses. I wouldn't recommend buyiing cheaper lenses because it negates the reason for having such a high resolution camera sensor. I managed to scratch my previous DSLR screens so I purchased a set of protectors for it, and also fitted a rubberised cover for it. This hopefully will give additional protection against condensation during cold night imaging sessions. The cover does, however, affect the handling (fiddly to switch on and off). Negatives: the Sony instruction manual is basic and the Sony support could be better - for instance, trying to find out which is the latest firmware for the 7RM3a, as opposed to the original 7RM3. I haven't investigated the video capabilities yet, which is why I haven't graded the sound quality! I'm glad I bought it.

Great camera, capable of fantastic images, has a myriad of controls - make sure to read the Brochure and Manual in detail and view all Sony Academy lessons, as well as Ambassador and User pages on Sony website to help get the most out of it. Be aware there are ill informed comments and reviews on the web. Having reviewed the lens options I settled on the Sony Zeiss 55mm f1.8 and Zeiss Batis lenses. The camera gives more than sufficient performance for my requirements and negates the extra cost of the Alpha 7R IV.

Bought a used 7R 111A to replace my much loved 7R 111. It seemed a better bet going for the 111A because it came out in 2021 and the likelihood of a less used camera was stronger (+ less actuations). There seems to be some internal changes to the software but nothing that stands out. The improved rear screen is perhaps a bit clearer but not really a game changer. However, all in all, the 7R 111A is a great camera and I find the 42mp resolution, with good lenses, is all I need.

Ich habe lange mit mir gerungen, ob diese Profikamera für mich nicht eine Nummer zu groß ist. Nach mittlerweile vier Jahren ist sie allerdings praktisch zu einem weiteren Körperteil geworden, auf den ich nicht mehr verzichten will und kann, und meine fotografischen Arbeit haben ein so hohes Niveau erreicht, dass sie in Galerien und Museen ausgestellt und international verkauft werden. Dazu hat meine Sony Alpha 7R III nicht unerheblich beigetragen, weil ich es einfach liebe, mit ihr zu arbeiten und ihr fast unerschöpfliches Potenzial zu erschließen. Mein Schwerpunkt Naturfotografie bedeutet, dass ich mit der Kamera auch sehr viel zu Fuß unterwegs bin. Zugegeben, das Gewicht (mit hochwertigen Objektiven) ist nicht unerheblich, dafür ist sie aber auch robust und lässt mich niemals im Stich, egal ob ich bei sengender Hitze, im Staubsturm, bei Regen oder bei Minusgraden unterwegs bin. Die Akkulaufzeit ist beeindruckend. Ich kann mit Überzeugung sagen: beste Investition, die ich je getätigt habe.

Gekauft habe ich mir die R7iii wegen ihrer 42 MP. Ich besitze etliche Optiken für meine A6400/6700 und möchte sie auch an der R7iii nutzen. Alle Einstellungen kenne ich ja von meiner A7iii und so war der Einstieg ein Kinderspiel.

Nachdem Ich zuvor, nach einer gewissen Übergangsphase, meine 7 R 2 durch eine eine 7 R 3 ersetzt habe, habe Ich mich an den Komfort eines 2 Bodys gewöhnt. Also habe Ich mich aufgrund des Preisverfalls für die 7 R 3A entschieden. Die 7 R 3 Reihe ist für mich das beste Gesamtpaket. Die 7 R 4 ist aufgrund des Sensors weit über dem hinaus,was Ich benötige und der sonstige Unterschied ist zu marginal. Die 7 R 5 wäre ein gutes Paket gewesen,jedoch preislich einfach zu weit weg.

Vorab: Ich hatte seit 2018 die Sony Alpha 7RM2. Leider ging sie mir in Norwegen kaputt und ich brauchte Ersatz. Jetzt stellte sich mir die Frage 7RM3 oder 7M4. Da mir die 10 mehr Megapixel der 7RM3 aber wichtiger sind, kaufte ich die 7RM3A. Das Rauschverhalten im Gegensatz zur 7RM2 ist absoluter Wahnsinn! Der größere Akku ist ein schöner Bonus, da ich sonst immer 6 Akkus dabei hatte. Jetzt reichen mir 2. Der Autofokus reicht mir völlig aus, wenn man den der 7RM2 kennt. Auch 2024 eine super Kamera für mich und meinen Einsatz.

un des premiers modèles tropicalisé les plus abouti en terme de photographie capteur plein format, stabilisation ,suivis af performant mode totalement silencieux si besoin, anti-scintillement, batterie longe durée, menu complexe mais une fois que l'on a configuré le mode fn + les fonctions du menu personnalisable (dernier menu) la video est en 4K aussi a relancé toutes les 25mn, l'interet de l'hybride avoir un appercu liveview avant et après la photo directement dans le viseur (pareil pour l'ecran), une aide à la mise au point manuelle en surbrillance (dans les menus) une option pour passé dirrectement de l'af au manuel et vice-verse(personnalisable) le rapport poid-qualité et possibilités font merveilles de plus le parc sony c'est étoffé ainsi que d'autres marques d'objectifs directement dediés ou bien avec adaptateur (ce qui n'etait pas le cas dans le monde photo avant) les boitiers RIV & RV ont dautres possibilités mais pour le moment ce boitier me convient autant pour la photo de tout les jours que pour le plus professionnel.Je venais de canon ou le menu etait vraiment simple mais le défaut de canon reste sa cellule là ou sony est bien meilleur dans diverse conditions de lumières. l'af en video est très bon (avec des optiques de qualités) .Des mises a jours regulières des boitierssont possibles

Die SONY α7R IIIA ist eine ganz wunderbare Kamera! Ich arbeite sehr gern mit ihr, und die Liste der positiven Punkte wäre fast unendlich lang. Danke SONY, dass ihr im Laufe der Jahre aus sehr guten Kameras noch viel bessere gemacht habt, z.B. in dem ihr auf die vielen Kundenwünsche weltweit reagiert habt! Großartig! Aber weil schon viele private Anwender, Profi-Fotografen, Fotozeitschrift-Redaktionen und YouTuber viele wertvolle und sehr positive Bewertungen geschrieben haben, möchte ich mich hier eher auf die negativen Punkte beschränken, die mir aufgefallen sind: 1.) Monitor-Helligkeit Die maximale Helligkeit des Monitors ist bei direktem, hellem Sonnenschein bei blauem Himmel viel zu gering! Natürlich gibt es den Sucher, aber der Monitor ist viel praktischer, wenn die Kamera auf dem Stativ steht. 2.) Monitor auch schwenkbar: Die SONY α7R IIIA hat noch nicht den Monitor, den man kippen und(!) schwenken kann, weil der erst in der 5.Generation verfügbar ist. Ein schwenkbarer Monitor wäre für Aufnahmen im Hochformat sehr wichtig! 3) Die Menü-Struktur Die ist, wie allgemein bekannt, nicht so ganz die Stärke der SONY α7-Serie, weil viele Funktionen nicht dort zu finden sind, wo man sie vermuten würde. Aber SONY hat vier segensreiche Möglichkeiten vorgesehen: a) Die frei umprogrammierbaren Tasten und b) die umprogrammierbaren Wahlräder an der Kamera und c) das frei konfigurierbare „Funktionsmenü“ und d) die frei konfigurierbaren „My Menus“ Damit kann jeder die Kamera zu einem „Ergonomie-Wunder“ machen, in dem er sie auf die persönlichen Bedürfnisse zurecht schneidert. Super! 4.) Das Halten der Kamera Die Kameras der SONY α7-Serie haben alle Bedienelemente an den richtigen Stellen, aber Oberflächen-Materialien und die Formgebung der Kamera sind ungünstig! Das trifft auch auf die SONY α7R IIIA zu. Wenn ich z.B. meine alte, analoge CANNON T90 in die Hand nehme, dann will ich die eigentlich gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen, so gut schmiegt sie sich an die Hand an, und so sicher und angenehm liegt sie in der Hand!!! Eine Kamera der SONY α7-Serie fühlt sich dagegen eher an, wie ein Backstein. Sorry. Man merkt es vielleicht erst, wenn man direkt vergleichen kann. Mein Ausweg: Ich habe mir für 280€ den SONY-Vertikalgriff besorgt. Damit liegt die Kamera nun sehr, sehr gut in der Hand, gar kein Vergleich!!! (Allerdings macht der Vertikalgriff die Kamera größer und etwas schwerer.) 5.) Bild-Stabilisierung Nach meiner Meinung legt SONY auf die Bildstabilisierung einfach weniger Wert als manche der Konkurrenz-Firmen, und das ist schade. Dabei arbeite ich nicht etwa mit Fremdobjektiven, sondern mit nativen SONY-Objektiven, die z.T. eine eingebaute OSS haben, die laut SONY ja mit der ISS im Kamerabody zusammenarbeitet. Damit müsste eigentlich eine sehr gute Bild-Stabilisierung zustande kommen. Diese ist befriedigend, und man kann damit arbeiten, aber die Konkurrenz wie z.B. FUJIFILM bietet, immer bezogen auf die selbe Brennweite, z.T. Besseres. Ich möchte es einmal so ausdrücken: Bei der SONY α7R IIIA (und meiner SONY α7S III) werden Bewegungen des Sucherbildes gedämpft, während das Sucherbild einer FUJIFILM GFX100 geradezu „in einen Schraubstock eingespannt“ erscheint! Kein Winkelsucher! Dieser Punkt betrifft nicht die Kamera selbst, sondern ein fehlendes Zubehörteil: Wenn ich viel zu laufen habe, nehme ich aus Gewichtsgründen mein kleines, leichtes Carbon-Stativ mit. Allerdings hat es eine zu kleine Maximalhöhe! Dann kann ich nur mit Verrenkung in den Sucher blicken. Eine Mittelsäule hat das Stativ nicht, denn die macht jedes Stativ instabil. Und bei intensivem Sonnenschein würde ich auf dem Kamera-Monitor nichts erkennen können. Er ist zu dunkel, siehe Punkt 1)! Es bleibt dann nur der Sucher! Für solche Fälle haben die Hersteller früher den sogenannten Winkelsucher für ihre SLRs angeboten! Man zieht die Augenmuschel ab, und steckt statt dessen einfach den Winkelsucher auf das Okular! Dann kann man das Sucherbild von oben (oder aus jedem beliebigen Winkel) betrachten. Auch für Aufnahmen in Bodenhöhe ist der Winkelsucher die richtige Lösung. Und für die People Photography, denn die Leute fühlen sich weniger beobachtet, wenn sie nicht das Gesicht des Fotografen sehen, da Dieser ja dann von oben in den Winkelsucher sieht! Leider passen die chinesischen Nachbau-Winkelsucher mit ihren Adaptern nicht an die Kameras der SONY α7-Serie ab der 3. Generation, weil zwei kleine Nasen am Okular das verhindern... Leider bietet SONY zur Zeit keinen Winkelsucher für die SONY α7-Serie an. Warum nicht? Bitte SONY, denkt über einen Winkelsucher nach! Okay, nicht das hier ein falscher Eindruck entsteht: Ich liebe meine SONY α7R IIIA, so wie viele andere Fotografen weltweit, die z.T. von NIKON oder CANON e.t.c. zu SONY gewechselt sind, als 2016 langsam klar wurde, wie SONY die etablierten Konkurrenten durch eine beispielhafte Innovationskraft sozusagen „rechts überholt“! Aber Nachteile zu bemängeln gibt es eben auch an der SONY α7R IIIA, auch wenn einige davon bei den neueren Generationen (SONY α7R IV und SONY α7R V) verbessert oder sogar vermieden wurden.

I originally owned an A7R III back in 2018 and loved it. However, I allowed my gear obsession to get the better of me, and I switched to a different, newer system. While the latest cameras are technically very impressive, the fact is, stills image quality hit a wall in 2017/18 and so if, like me, you only shoot slow, composed stills photography you are gaining literally nothing in IQ by buying a new flagship camera… Just many features I don’t need and won’t use. Money which I would rather spend on lenses. So in December of 2023, I came full circle and bought a brand new A7R IIIA for significantly less than the price of an A7IV… Which is a no brainer. For my needs, the A7R IIIA is still as good as it gets. For stills photography, the 42MP sensor has not been bettered by any modern flagship camera, is still one of the best full frame sensors ever made and 42MP offers a perfect level of resolution for my needs. I personally prefer a tilting screen and the smaller size body compared to newer models which have grown substantially. It feels perfectly balanced with the vertical grip and without the grip it’s almost pocket size and an excellent street and travel camera with a compact prime. Spec wise, the EVF, battery and rear screen are still relevant and used on modern cameras and the AF was so far ahead of the curve back in 2017/18, it is still excellent for my requirements in 2024. Obviously the video features are miles behind modern models but if you are only a casual/occasional video shooter, it is still a more than capable 4K camera. In a nutshell, if you can find a good deal an A7R IIIA in 2023/24 and your main concern is composed stills photography (not hardcore sports and wildlife), it is still a sensational camera. Not to mention, Sony are so far ahead with the range of lenses now available for the E-Mount it’s become hard to recommend any other system.
