Avevo bisogno di aggiornare l'ottimo FE 85mm F/1.8 che se pur ottica dalle buone caratteristiche, in accoppiata con la rapidità della mia nuova Sony A1 II, segna il passo di un obiettivo con progetto non recentissimo. Posseggo già altre ottiche della serie GMaster e che dire, risultati stupefacenti da come ci si aspetta da ottiche di quel livello. Risoluzione e nitidezza altissima già a F/1.4, bokeh morbido e bellissimo effetto pop-up, resa dei colori e delle ombre senza incertezze o dubbi, risposta pressoché immediata dell'autofocus, resistenza al flare anche a tutta apertura da primato. Non ho appunti da fare a questo nuovo obiettivo che sicuramente mi darà grandi soddisfazioni. In merito al prezzo è vero che è caro, ma a questi livelli non può che essere così anche in rapporto a quello che offre la concorrenza.

Für die Portraitfotografie nutze ich gern ein 50mm 1.4 und wollte auch gerne ein 85mm 1.4 ausprobieren. Das 85mm 1.4 GM aus dem Hause Sony wurde daher gegenüber einem 85mm 1.4 Art von einem anderen Hersteller getestet. Das Sony gewann, da es u.a. besser mit Gegenlicht und den Verfärbungen an den Kontrastkanten umgehen kann. Auch ist die Schärfe meiner Meinung nach besser, der Autofokus funktioniert bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen und mit Graufilter ebenfalls besser und an der A9iii kann ich nun auch deutlich besser die Performance bei Events nutzen. Der Preis ist und bleibt hoch, ist unter den gegebenen Umständen und Leistungen dennoch gerechtfertigt.

Ja - teuer und - ja es ist das Geld wert! - Warum? Weil es eben eines der schärfsten 85mm f1.4 ist und das Bokeh auch erste Sahne ist - da kommen andere Linsen der Konkurrenz nicht mit - schon gar nicht beim Autofokus.

Ich hatte einige 85mm zum Testen. Einige Fremdmarken. Aber das Sony 85mm f1.4 hatte eben die Nase vorn. Egal, ob im Bokeh oder im Kontrast - das Sony hat einfach einen tollen Look. Da kann die Konkurrenz nicht mithalten. Vom Autofokus her sowieso nicht :-).

Als leidenschaftlicher Hobbyfotograf, der vor allem Porträts und gelegentlich auch Street-Fotografie liebt, war ich schon lange auf der Suche nach einem Objektiv, das meine kreative Vision unterstützt, ohne dass ich mich mit schwerem Equipment herumschlagen muss. Mit dem neuen Sony FE 85mm 1.4 GM II habe ich endlich genau das gefunden, was ich gesucht habe! Schon beim Auspacken war ich beeindruckt, wie leicht und kompakt das Objektiv ist. Im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell fühlt es sich deutlich angenehmer an, besonders wenn man über längere Zeit fotografiert. Ich hatte es auf einem langen Spaziergang durch die Stadt dabei, und selbst nach Stunden fühlte sich meine Kameraausrüstung nicht wie eine Last an. Die Bildqualität dieses Objektivs ist schlicht atemberaubend. Mit der maximalen Blendenöffnung von 1.4 erzeugt es ein wunderschön weiches Bokeh, das meine Porträts auf ein neues Niveau hebt. Jedes Foto wirkt, als wäre es in einem professionellen Studio aufgenommen worden. Die Schärfe ist selbst bei Offenblende unglaublich präzise, und auch die Farbwiedergabe hat mich begeistert – Hauttöne sehen absolut natürlich aus. Schneller und leiser Autofokus Ein weiteres Highlight ist der Autofokus. Er ist nicht nur unglaublich schnell, sondern auch extrem leise. Gerade bei spontanen Momenten oder in ruhigen Umgebungen ist das ein riesiger Vorteil. Ich habe mein Objektiv sowohl an der Alpha 7 IV als auch Sony A9 getestet, und in beiden Fällen war die Fokussierung punktgenau – auch bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen. Für mich als Hobbyfotograf ist das Sony FE 85mm 1.4 GM II die perfekte Kombination aus erstklassiger Bildqualität, Handlichkeit und moderner Technik. Es inspiriert mich, neue Motive auszuprobieren und meine fotografischen Fähigkeiten weiterzuentwickeln. Ob Porträts, Detailaufnahmen oder kreative Experimente mit Tiefenschärfe – dieses Objektiv enttäuscht nicht.

Like many others I have been waiting years for the mark 2 version of this lens. I am very impressed with it for portriats, action and landscapes.

Das ist mein erstes 85 1.4 GM und hatte nicht den Vorgänger..Ich bin absolut begeistert und es reiht sich perfekt ein neben dem 35 1.4 / 50 1.2 und 135 1.8. Ein tolles Objektiv mit überragender Abbildungsleistung!

I bought this lens having loved a 90mm Lieca lens when shooting film and have no regrets. It is amazingly sharp, great for landscapes and portraits, handles difficult lighting extremely well and very light weight.

Endlich ist meine Lieblings-Festbrennweite im neuen Gewand da. Super-schneller AF, leichter und mit einem tollen Bokeh. Trotz vieler Unkenrufe „Es ist kein 1.2“, ich bin froh dass Gewicht und Größe klein gehalten wurden und 1.4 reicht mir allemal für Hochzeiten und Portraits. Klasse Objektiv!

Nach ca 3000 Fotos mit dieser Linse vollauf zufrieden. Schärfe, AF Treffsicherheit, bokeh.. Ich glaube besser geht es einfach nicht mehr. Noch schärfer und schneller als das 135mm GM, und ich dachte nicht das sowas möglich ist.
