Das Einzige, was mich von 5 Sternen abgehalten hat, ist der Verschluss für die CD. Dieser geht mir zu ruppig und ich befürchte, dass dies sich irgendwann zeigen wird, indem der Verschluss kaputt geht. Außerdem fände ich es besser, würde sich der Player die Lautstärke merken, die beim letzten Mal benutzt wurde. Sonst bin ich absolut zufrieden mit dem Produkt.

Very average sound, short life

I bought this unit about 18 months ago to replace a Phillips unit that lasted for 25 years. We used the CD player to play about 4 CD's. It stopped working. There was a recall on this model relating to faulty CD's. I checked on Sony's website using the serial number of the unit. It was not included in the recall. Since it was just out of warranty, it is only suitable as a radio. Many of this model for sale on Ebay, most described as "CD not working" So we are left with a unit that only functions as a radio with very average sound. From a design point of view, the unit and all the button are black in colour, so almost impossible to see.

The sound is truly not good, I expected more from so well reputable company as SONY. The cassette player is awful – and the cassette player in conjuction with CD player was the main reason I bought it. One side of the tape I can hear the other hardly. It applies to both newest tapes and oldest. I am overall quite disappointed. I do not know who wrote previous reviews? I do not have hearing problems and I am not satisfied. Maybe just my device is faulty? I honestly do not know. I have better sound from my phone, and it shouldn't be like that - that for sure.

We are sorry to hear that you have sound issues with your CFD-S70. This is not the norm as we strive to deliver the best quality possible.
Regarding the cassette player issues, it might be helpful to try cleaning the tape player head and drive mechanism. Use a dry cotton swab to clean the surface of the pinch roller, play/recording head, and erase-head.
Additionally, ensure the cassette tape is compatible with your device, as some players won't play High Bias or Metal tapes.

Ho acquistato, giugno 2023 , questo apparecchio cd - musicassette - radio bianco molto carino da vedere con un ottimo potenziale ma la pulsantiera delle cassette è bloccata. Tutto il resto funziona per ora

Questo lettore ha un problema, presumo di assemblaggio, al lettore cassette che non si apre, il pulsante di apertura dello sportello é come incastrato Il lettore cd e il sintonizzatore radio funzionano bene
