Good sound. Mode touch buttons on top of speaker can be hard to see. Would be good to be able to turn speaker off rather than leaving in standby when not using. I was unable to access Sony's response to my previous review as link in email did not take me to the product page, presumably as it has been discontinued. I would particularly like to know about powering off.

è qualche mese che ho comprato questo speaker portatile da utilizzare nel mio laboratorio al lavoro. secondo me è perfetto per un utilizzo come il mio, cioè al lavoro, ha un ottima connettività, lo collego via bluetooth sia al pc che al telefono (tramite nfc è questione di secondi). in laboratorio non ho particolari esigenze, non cerco certo il massimo di qualità per ascoltare musica o podcast mentre lavoro. per casa sinceramente costa troppo, bisognerebbe prendere almeno 2 di questi speaker più un subwoofer. ma anche 1 solo speaker più subwoofer costa di più che un sistema 5.1 sui 250/300€ ( sempre sony, che utilizzo per il mio tv) in cui ho uno speaker centrale grande 3 volte, più subwoofer, più due casse da posizionare dietro. un prezzo adeguato secondo me sarebbe 180/200€. visto cosa offre la concorrenza allo stesso prezzo e considerando che è portatile ma senza batterie, quindi non molto portatile alla fine. sono cmq soddisfatto solo perchè l'ho acquistato scontato e con fattura (quindi scaricando l'iva) su amazon. a prezzo pieno 350€ avrei scelto un altro speaker di un altra marca.

I was a little hesitant in buying this speaker as some reviews I had read were critical of the sound. Thankfully though, I think the sound is excellent. I listen to a lot of music as do my teenage kids and we’ve all commented on how good the sound quality actually is.

Comprata al posto di una soundbar per posizionarla sotto un televisore Sony posizionato in cucina, si accoppia con il cavo HDMI arc e si accende automaticamente con il TV. Abbastanza facile l’utilizzo come speaker WiFi. Ottima resa acustica.

L'audio è buono (per le dimensioni) leggermente carente di bassi e di acuti, in ogni caso mi ha risolto una miriade di problemi a casa. Le uniche pecche sono legate alla gestione di alcune funzioni che sono gestibili soltanto dal cellulare (EQ) ... io avrei messo qualche tasto in più ...comunque è un ottimo prodotto

Ik heb 3 srs-zr7 en 2 srs-zr5 speakers. De srs-zr5 gekoppeld aan mijn ht-ct800 soundbar voor surround sound. Daarvoor de soundbar bekabeld internet moeten geven, zodat het wifi signaal kan worden gebruikt voor de srs-zr5 achterspeakers. Omdat dit bekabeld internet is, en de srs-zr7 speakers op wifi, krijg ik dit niet synchroon met elkaar (ook niet met music center app of Google Home app). Als ik twee van de srs-zr7 speakers in stereo met elkaar pair, en koppel aan alle andere speakers, dan begint steevast één speaker te storen. Waarschijnlijk door het zwakke wifi signaal, maar als ik ze niet pair in stereo, heb ik dit probleem niet.

Bought it about 3 weeks ago. The shape and style means it fits in unobtrusively in most rooms, which is what we wanted. The sound is impressive for the size, especially mid and upper range. We play mainly classical so it took quite a while in the shop finding one without a dominant booming bass. Speech can sound muffled, but that seems to be a problem with these speakers generally, they aren't set up for that. The software provided is a bit clunky, the instructions are poor. It connects wirelessly via the app provided but after the days of hours of effort it still doesn't appear on any computer in the house as a device to play music through. You can do it, but always via the phone, not directly from the computer. We didn't want a speaker that you just control via a phone app or Bluetooth and this has more ways to connect then any other we found.

I bought this speaker to enable my multi -room ability, sitting along with my CMT-SX7B Home Audio System. I have been really impressed with the ease of connectivity between the 2 components, and the quality of sound from this very small unit. It fills whichever room it is in with a very precise sound, and with plenty of bass to give the system some oomph! The only issue is that it is a shame there is no battery operation option. There is still a cable lead to trip over so whilst it is small and portable enough to move from room to room, the power cable is a restriction to final placement.

J'ai acheté ce produit pour pouvoir bénéficier de la qualité de son SONY sans les contraintes des câbles reliant es enceintes. Une fois tous mes CD scannés, je voulais la possibilité d'écouter ma musique facilement. Facile à connecter au réseau Wi-Fi local et facile d'utilisation avec Song-Pal Super son pour ce type de produit. Ein wenig mehr Transparenz im Bassbereich und es wären 5 Sterne geworden. Ansonsten einfache Installation, funktioniert gut über die App und störungsfreie WLAN Verbindung. Einsatz im Schlafzimmer für besseren TV-Ton per HDMI und natürlich auch Musik.

Entièrement satisfait de mon achat. Je voulais écouter de la musique et regarder des films avec un son puissant, c'est chose faite. La connexion hdmi ARC est vraiment top. Écouter de la musique en Bluetooth ou WiFi via Spotify est vraiment facile et agréable à utiliser. Mon salon fait 70 m2, j'en pense donc acquérir une zr5 en plus pour coupler les 2 et obtenir un meilleur rendu pour les films... Je recommande !

purchased this 3 weeks ago and have mixed feelings. When it works it is a great sound but connection is difficult and intermittent. Well built and a quality made product, but just wish the connection was more reliable and easier. I have a Bose WiFi speaker and don't have the same problem, it was only because the Bose was too big to fit in the space we got the Sony as the second speaker and wish the Bose fitted

Bin zufrieden, läuft stabil im WLAN Betrieb (Stereo). Zu wenig Bass für meinen Geschmack, wenn es im Raum steht. Im Regal wie im Video gezeigt, da höre ich super den Bass.

Ik heb dit apparaat twee weken geleden gekocht. Ik ben heel tevreden. Het was een eitje om het apparaat bij de app te installeren. De geluidskwaliteit is uitstekend. Het koppelt goed met Spotify en met mijn TV via een ARC HDMI-poort.

Habe 3 SRS-ZR5 und bin im Vergleich enttäuscht. Der Bass könnte wesentlich besser sein. Bei den zr5 hat man das geschafft.

Ma toute 1ère installation audio. J'en ai acheté deux. Je les utilise dans des pièces séparées ou en stéréo dans le salon. Écoute à partir d'un music streamer ou d'un NAS, de la télévision par liaison hdmi. J'apprécie: - la connectique très diversifiée : wifi, bluetooth, hdmi, le chromecast intégré - le multiroom et la stéréo sans fil, - design discret, très compact, solide - le son équilibré, basses raisonnables - la tension d'utilisation 100-240V, je voyage avec. Bref, des enceintes "WIFI semi-nomade" à tout faire, idéal pour investir dans un équipement son tout en gardant des possibilités d'évolution future. Je regrette: - l'appli Music center (anciennement SongPal) très austère, limite scandaleux. l'equaliser perso ne fonctionne pas (Androïd 6.0.1) - la qualité du son, qui manque de netteté (même à partir d'un FLAC 24/96, lecteur bitperfect, entrée audio USB) - l'angle de diffusion très étroit. Une célèbre marque audio propose une paire d'enceintes actives wifi, un son mieux diffusé et nettement plus riche, pour le même prix. Par contre elles sont plus grandes, indissociables, pour une utilisation "WIFI sédentaire".

Bought this since Sony's website first said the product was compatible with the HT-XT3 soundbase for wireless surround sound, it isn't. Sound quality is mediocre. ARC connectivity with the TV is poor at best.

Möglicherweise habe ich das Produkt nicht verstanden. Als reiner bluetooth Lautsprecher viel zu teuer - im Vergleich zu anderen stand alone. Es fehlt in dieser Preisklasse ein Radiomodul und eine Fernbedienung. Die beiliegende produktbeschreibung erklärte zu wenig. Nutzbar ist der Lautsprecher nur mit iPhone. Für iPad nicht verwendbar.

Bought to expand a sound bar to make a 2.1 stereo surround system. It connects nicely on the bluetooth, but in order to also use headphones in the sound system the speakers disconnect, then when done with the headphones, re-paired to restore. Whilst it is easy enough to re-pair it is a faff. I think this is due to a limitation of the sound bar rather than the periferal speaker though

j'ai acheté ces enceintes en meme temps que la barre de son htct790 pour faire un son home cinema et ecouter de la musique a d' autres moment . le son est tres bon. par contre je suis tres déçu par l'application Song Pal qui gere le multiroom . il ya un gros manque de souplesse pour passer d'un mode a l'autre.

Bought this speaker for the dining room as a replacement for my old 2.1 Bose system. Great sound from such a small unobtrusive unit which fully fills the room.with music. Great control via my iphone5. Only downside is that it does suffer from occasional drop of connectivity which results in music stopping.

Deze speaker gekocht louter om het geluid van de tv te verbeteren. Omdat op de speaker o.a. een ARC aansluiting aanwezig is kan hij met een hdmi kabel op mijn tv aangeloten worden. Het geluid viel mij in eerste instantie wat tegen, veel laag en weinig hoog zodat het wat boemerig klonk. Twee dagen later nog eens de beschrijving doorgenomen en daar las ik ook over de app Songpal. Na deze geinstalleerd te hebben was ik blij verrast dat er in deze software ook een equalizer voor regeling van het geluid aanwezig was. Nu kon ik het hoog en laag bijregelen. En nu is het geluid prima! Helemaal tevreden. Het aansluiten op mijn netwerk ging vlotjes. Ook muziek via Spotifi streamen gaat prima. De afwerking is mooi en degelijk. Dus aanbevelenswaardig.
