Superb, comfortable headphones.

Straight out of the very useful storage case, you can feel that they are a quality pair of headphones. Very easy to connect to my iPhone, using the headphones app. Super comfortable but secure and nicely intuitive controls on the outside of one “can”. Just a swipe up/down to adjust the volume, left/right to fast forward or rewind and a tap in the centre to pause. The noise cancelling works exceptionally well. Just be aware that you may not hear the next station announcement on the train, and miss your stop ( luckily only a 20 minute detour). The sound quality really lets you immerse yourself in the music, and the battery life will make any journey a pleasure.

One side has fully stopped working within 6 months. I seldom used these headphones anyway but am disappointed with Sony’s build quality as of late. Microphones also introduce significant wind noise for “ambient sound” honestly these are pretty rubbish.

Good value for money, good quality.

Had these for almost two years still hold up well. Good quality sound with decent noise cancelling. Only issue I've had is the fabric on the ear muffs has worn exposing the foam. However this is likely due to constant daily use on my part.

Ik heb deze hoofdtelefoon (klinkt nog altijd leuker dan koptelefoon) aangeschaft voor in de sportschool. Na het sporten maak ik heb altijd droog en bewaar hem in zijn doos. Na een keer of tien is de band over je hoofd al helemaal ruw en beschadigd.

Das Produkt zeichnet sich vor allem durch seinen massiven Bass aus. Außerdem positiv zu bewerten ist der Tragekomfort, da man auch nach stundenlangem Tragen glatt vergisst, dass man sie aufhat. Die Akkulaufzeit und das schnelle Laden sind ebenfalls positiv zu bewerten. Das Design ist schön und schlicht. Die dazugehörende App bringt viel mehrwert an Funktionen. Gut, aber nicht sehr gut ist das Noise Cancelling, was bspw. was Stimmen angeht, teils etwas besser sein könnte. Die Funktion zwei Geräte verbinden zu können ist lebenswichtig. Allerdings kommt es dabei hin und wieder zu Problemen bei der Verbindung und Tonausgabe eines zweiten Gerätes. Deutlich negativ, ja katastrophal, ist die Verarbeitung der Polster. Mir sind jetzt innerhalb von zwei Jahren, häufiger, aber sorgfältiger Nutzung die Ohrpolster an den Nähten aufgerissen (siehe Bild). Außerdem hat sich nach 1,5 Jahren das Kunstleder auf dem Bügel komplett verabschiedet. Und trotzdem eine klare Kaufempfehlung, denn die Polster tun zumindest noch ihren Dienst. Sie sehen zwar schlecht aus, aber es beeinträchtigt tatsächlich nicht den Tragekomfort. Trotzdem peinlich Sony!

Ik heb deze koptelefoon laatst gekocht, en tot nu toe ben ik erg tevreden! Het geluid is erg goed en voor de prijs is het het zeker waard! Wel heb ik zelf een wat klein hoofd dus op mij ziet de koptelefoon er erg groot uit wat wel een minpuntje is voor mij persoonlijk. Kort gezegd echt een aanrader als je een wat groot ogende koptelefoon niet erg vind!

A good mid-range headphone

A good headphone set with digital noise cancellation. I haven't had these long but tried them out on a recent plane journey and found the noise cancellation quite useful. Obviously not as good as some of the top range headsets but not bad at all for the price of £120. My only negative is the App that it suggests you use with the headset; I am not sure what the point of it is. You can make some minor adjustments to the sound but really it is totally pointless. I am hoping that I will learn more about the App as I use it, but first sight it seems to be of no use at all.

Sad it's not sold anymore

I love the headphone, but when I tried to order 1 for my girlfriend they where sold out and out of production. Then new line of headphones replacing this one are now €199 instead of the €124 I paid for this one. Also the sound and noice cancelling of the premium line is better, but this one is still good. And presonally I don't think the amount you pay extra for the premium line of headphones is worth the extra money.

I purchased these today as I am due to fly out on an 11hr flight to South Africa very soon. The last pair of headphones I bought from Sony was the MDR XB950AP which I LOVE, however I no longer am able to buy them and needed a worthy successor which packed the same punch. These, well... I wasn't raising my hopes too high as with trying any new product that you try to replace from older models. These sound crispy clear and the noise cancellation is perfect, could barely hear my own thoughts. The sound is exactly what you want from headphones especially when you want bass to be present. The only let down with these headphones is the built in microphone which is very low quality however for someone who is not using them for the microphone purpose this does not cause me any issue with the sound quality which is an expected AAA+ from Sony.

Good bass but awful noise cancelling

I was looking forward to getting these headphones for both the bass and the noise cancelling but I've been really disappointed with the noise cancelling. I don't know if it's just my pair as other reviews have been positive but I can fully hear conversations and noises even with noise cancelling turned on. Would recommend it for the bass.

We're sorry to learn that you thought that you wouldn't be able to connect your Sony WH-XB910N headset to your TV due to Bluetooth version mismatch.
However, your headset Bluetooth version is 5.2 and is backwards compatible with older versions of Bluetooth (including Bluetooth 5.0). But, your TV has to support A2DP Bluetooth profile to be able to be connected to any Bluetooth headset.

Vorige week gekocht. Hij bevalt uitstekend. Zit niet te stak en hij neemt de vorm van je hoofd aan. Hij is flexibel in d omgang en is ind. snel opgeladen. Ik ben er blij mee. Ik heb hem pas een week, ik moet nog het een en ander aanvoelen en uitzoeken. Het swipen is erg makkelijk. Je moet wel eerst het gevoel ervaren maar als jij het door hebt is hij makkelijk te bedienen.

Bought this for my birthday and are just in love with how good it sounds. I love drum and bass and the addition bass features on this really shows off. The power of ambience mode and noice cancelling just work perfectly for day to day life. Would 100% recommend to most considering it’s so affordable.

Der Kopfhörer ist sehr gut, die Klanquwalität auch, nur die Verbindung mit meinem 5 Jahre alten Sony Fernseher hat etliche Probleme bereitet was ich nicht gut fand. Mit Profi Unterstützung hat es dann endlich geklappt. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

Had these headphones for about 2 month. Base is good but can be a little over powering. The best thing about these are the features. Connect hands free to alexa or google. The equaliser is a nice addition where you can customise the treble and lower the bass

Ik heb deze hoofdtelefoon een paar weken gelden gekocht, en tot nu toe voldoet hij aan de verwachtingen. ik ben brildragend en ondanks dat hij volledig over de oren valt heb ik er geen last van. Wel wordt na een paar uur de druk wel groot en moet ik hem afdoen. De noise canceling werkt erg goed, het geluid is zonder meer prima te noemen. De bediening vergt wel enige oefening, ik persoonlijk heb liever knoppen ipv. dat je over een oorschelp met een vinger moet schuiven om de hoofdtelefoon te bedienen. Het enige minpunt is het belachelijke 15 cm korte oplaadsnoer. Kan dat nou echt niet 75 cm zijn? De algemene score is goed, maar ik kan niet vergelijken om te zeggen of hij uitstekend is of niet. Maar omdat hij voldoet aan de verwachtingen een goed.

Le cuffie sono ottime, hanno sicuramente un costo che non è super basso e non ho grandi paragoni con altri modelli a parità di prezzo ma fanno il loro sporco lavoro egregiamente. Le uso mentre lavoro continuamente collegate al pc sia per chiamate che per guardare video/ascoltare podcast e hanno una durata della batteria assurda. Ottimo prodotto, super consigliato.

Decent sound, nice for the train journey

I've had them more than a year. One issue is the sound of wind noise. If its rainig they can get confused with the touch sensitive right cup. I am still unsure about how touse voice as I use them with an Android tablet, an iphone my laptop so should I say hey siri?, hey google? or "alexa" ?

Very good sound quality

I bought these on Black Friday for around £130 and whilst I say they are great for the price I wouldn’t pay £200 for them at their original price. Very comfy on the ears and the app lets you customise the sound so well I was amazed. They’re sturdy and have held up so far in just over 4 months and I am very reckless with them dropping them everywhere and so the durability is also amazing. From others that I’ve seen that have better Sony headphones such as the XM series I would still buy these as they don’t seem to be different except in terms of build.

Nu twee weken in bezit. Bevalt uitstekend. Snelle verbinding via bleutooth. Gebruik hem in combinatie met mijn smartphone en spotify. Handige app om alles in te stellen. Omdat ik hem vooral op de bank gebruik, thuis, gebruik ik ruisonderdrukking en verminderen van omgevingsgeluid niet nodig. Maar dat kan wel. Werkt perfekt, als de tv aanstaat, hoor ik die dan echt niet. Prima. De bassen staan standaard voor mij te hoog. Maar je kunt met de equalizer alles naar wens instellen. Bassen op -3 vind ik het mooist. Zit bij mij prettig over het hele (grote) oor. Het volume is voor mij op 80% hard genoeg. Kortom, ik ben er blij mee.

Prima koptelefoon met redelijke ANC. Beperkte instelmogelijkheden via de app. En een app met kinderachtige dingen als stickers die je kunt verdienen en overbodige info. En geen taalkeuze van de app dus een Nederlandstalige app met domme vertalingsfouten. Voor een professioneel merk als Sony best een tegenvaller.

In mei 2023 heb ik deze hoofdtelefoon gekocht van Sony en met de geluidskwaliteit ben ik tevreden. Ik ben een intensieve gebruiker van hoofdtelefoons en wat mij tegen viel was de kwaliteit van het materiaal, de naad van het kussen was in december al gescheurd. Ook de software in combinatie met Google Assistent werkt matig is mijn ervaring. Maar zoals ik al zei ik ben een intensieve gebruiker en het geluid is nog steeds goed en wat rubber betreft is het ook bij andere Sony produkten die ik bezit niet meer wat het geweest is.

Good value, great app and equalizer settings.

I bought these headphones for travel. The price was spot on for what I wanted. The sound is great, for me, and what has made a big difference is the app settings, controller etc., particularly the equalizer and custom settings so I would urge you to have a good play around in the app, try all the sound settings to get the best out of these headphones. Very happy.

Vandaag ontvangen, dit zijn mijn eerste indrukken. Past goed, verbinden ging makkelijk, maar Sony wil wel erg veel van je weten en je moet eerst een heleboel schermen door waarop je steeds nee moet zeggen, want anders lever je je privedata in. Wat Sony bv moet met je locatie is mij volkomen onduidlijk. Geluid is goed, Gekocht naar aanleding van testresultaat op tweakers, waarbij, ook in de reviews, gemeld werd dat de bas erg zwaar is maar makkelijk aan te passen, wat ook klopt. Wat me tegenvalt is het extreem korte oplaadsnoer wat erbij geleverd wordt, het is bijna een belediging dat Sony daarop bezuinigd bij een hoofdtelefoon voor deze prijs.

Acheté il y a un mois, j'ai découvert les fonctionnalités de ce casque réducteur de bruit avec beaucoup de plaisir. L'assistance logicielle est très pratique et permet d'adapter au mieux le casque à son oreille et son environnement. On peut écouter sa musique sans avoir besoin d'augmenter le volume même en plein centre-ville.

Great value headphones

Bought these headphones after researching reasonably priced over-ear noise cancelling headphones. Being retired I will use these as much using the audio cable as Bluetooth. Some other headphones only offer noise cancelling on Bluetooth and some in this price range do not have it at all. I do not commute so many features will not be used. I hope that they work well on aircraft to improve the audio experience and reduce the noise level. So far I am very happy with the sound quality. Having a robust storage case is a massive bonus. The only negative is the pretty useless quick start guide and having 120+ pages of manual to search for proper guidance.

Top-Leistung Preis-Kombination. Das Kunststoffgehäuse macht sie natürlich billiger, obwohl sie genauso aussehen wie höhere Modelle und Kunststoff macht sie leichter, was ein großes Plus für diejenigen ist, die gerne stundenlang Musik hören. 20-30 Stunden mit einem vollen Akku helfen auch dabei!
