Die Verarbeitung der SA-SW5 Subwoofer ist hochwertig und optisch sehr gut gelungen. Vordere -und Rückseite sind mit Stoff bekleidet. Abgerundete Ecken an alle Seiten und hinten nur ein Stromkabel als Anschluss gestalten der Subwoofer als nicht störend im Wohnzimmer. Ich habe der SA-SW5 auf einen Naturstein platte gesetzt, weil die untere Seite des Subwoofers ziemlich empfindlich sein kann für Staubsauger usw. Das macht der Anblick irgendwie noch besser! Anschließen ist einfach, Stecker rein, Klangoptimierung laufen lassen und der Subwoofer ist einsatzbereit. Der SA-SW5 habe Ich angeschlossen an der HT-A7000 und nach der Klangfeldoptimierung sind die Subwoofer im Soundbar deaktiviert und ist der SA-SW5 aktiv. Der Subwoofer ist ein Kraftpaket die Sowohl leise als (sehr) Laut angenehm „getuned“ ist. Einstellungen wie Crossover / Frequenz gibt es nicht (Nur leiser und Lauter auf der FB), aber in diesen Fall ist es nicht wirklich notwendig. Hier haben die Ingenieure gute Arbeit geleistet mit der Klangoptimierung. In Filme wie „The Outpost“ zeigt der SA-SW5 was er wirklich draufhat, mit kraft werden die Explosionen dargestellt ohne zu verzerren. Musikalisch macht der Subwoofer auch alles mit. Sevdaliza mit „Angel“ wird kräftig präsentiert, und dort geht es wirklich tief in die Frequenzen. Pink Floyd mit „Welcome to the Machine“ wo es auch tiefgeht, wird problemlos wiedergegeben. Der SA-SW5 ist sein Geld wirklich wert! Heimkino oder Musik, alles macht mehr Spaß und irgendwie muss Ich mir bestimmte filme mal wieder ansehen, freue mich schon darauf.

All seemed great for a couple of weeks until I noticed a popping sound when the volume was low in a film as if the sub was either loosing signal or not coping with the signal it was getting, awaiting answers from the shop!

Leider konnte der SA-SW5 nur ein einziges Mal gekoppelt werden. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt, gab er einen satten, voluminösen Klang aus. Beim Wechsel auf eine Bluetooth-Verbindung brach die Verbindung ab und ließ sich kein weiteres Mal koppeln. Kein Reset nach Sony-Anweisung führte zum Erfolg, Das Komplett-Set Theatre 9 ging zurück

Es freut uns, dass du den Klang des Subwoofers bei der ersten erfolgreichen Verbindung als satt und voluminös erlebt hast. Upgraded a 5.1 solution to the Sony Quad speakers and SW5. In my smallish lounge space it’s a fabulous solution, delivering great surround sound and I’m very happy with the purchase. Only minor hassle is the Sony tv will lose Wi-Fi signal with the app, meaning you have to resynch them. No connectivity issues with the sound system though.

I took delivery of the SA-SW5 sub yesterday as I have had to wait a few weeks for new stock to arrive from where I purchased the theatre Quad system. After plugging it in and pressing the link button the system picked it up straight away. However on the app it shows that the sub position is on the right of the room when in fact it is on the left. After a search I found the usual conflicting AI results saying it makes no odds as the sub is omnidirectional, which is fine if that` is the case. On the other hand depending on how the question is asked, it`s a known fact that it can happen, and the advise is to delete the app as thats the only way to clear the cache/data for the connect app, and then reinstall the app and perform the setup again. This I have done but it`s still the same. I have also done a factory reset on the control box and reinstalled to no avail. The thing which concerns me more as to whether there is an issue, is that whilst doing the room calibration, I get a sound signal coming from all four speakers but not the subwoofer, this which I`m more than aware of should produce either a deep rumbling sound or a fairly loud tone of some description. I have done a factory reset twice, moved the control box so there is nothing between that and the subwoofer. Playing movies that I know are good for bass sounds, all I am getting is irregular tinny rattle sounds coming from the sub. The light is on green to show it`s connected, and all speakers are running the latest firmware. I am waiting on a reply from Sony support to see if they can advise, if not then I will be sending it back from where it was purchased.

Questo sub ha degnamente sostituito il piccolino sa-sw7 che effettivamente non era all’altezza della situazione, anche per l’incompatibilità con il protocollo audio Imax Enhanced. Questo invece è di ben altra categoria, crea una grande atmosfera in tutto il sistema, bar theatre 9 e rear 8 , con bassi articolati e profondi mai fastidiosi. È decisamente costoso ma se lo si trova in promozione vale sicuramente l’acquisto.

I bought this a month ago to complement the home theatre system i also bought along with Sonys flagship TV Bravia A-95L.soo glad i did the sound deep base is so lifelike it literally places you there weather gaming or watching a movie or just listening to the Dolby Atmos this combination for me - near perfect, i haven't experienced anything else out there that can compete !! oh and with Sonys cashback offer makes this even better, thanks Sony !!

So far so good Bought this with a bundle and got it at circa £375 At that price point the sub is good and no faults at all so far At full price these can’t compete with specialist subs such as SVS but otherwise good - this model is a bit old so maybe Sony need to develop a successor sub

Ich bin von einer Sennheiser Ambeo Max nun umgestiegen auf die Quad. Die Ambeo hat bereits einen hervorragenden Job gemacht in unserem großen Wohnzimmer. Allerdings hat mir etwas mehr Surround Sound gefehlt! Ich will keine Meter an Kabel verlegen! So kam ich auf dieses System! Nach einigen Tests mit Dolby Atmos bin ich extrem zufrieden! Der Sound kommt gefühlt von überall! Unser Wohnzimmer wird komplett eingehüllt vom Klang! Die Lautsprecher sehen sehr modern aus und fügen sich edel in das Gesamtbild ein. Beste Bestätigung über diesen hervorragenden Klang bekamen wir durch Besuch die nicht glauben konnten das nur durch diese kleinen Büchergrossen Lautsprecher so ein volles Klamgbild in einem so großen Raum zustande kommen kann. Direkt gefragt worden was das für ein System ist.

Heb deze in combinatie met de Theatre Quad. Belangrijk om de plaatsing van de sub in de kamer goed uit te proberen, dan komt hij goed tot zijn recht. Sublieme subwoofer, je kunt hem instellen dat hij echt aanwezig is, maar met juiste plaatsing is hij bij films en ook muziek erg goed. Ervaar hem niet als boomy, juist netjes laag. Zeer tevreden met de aankoop.

No idea. Tv was not installed yet so I did not use the subwoofer either. It's nearly 2 weeks after delivery and still waiting for order works to contact.

Je n'ai jamais reçu l'article et je dois me battre avec le service client pour qu'on m'expédie enfin les produits que j'ai acheté. La manière dont j'ai été traitée tout au long de ce processus de commande est absolument scandaleuse! Commande le 31 octobre, toujours rien le 22 novembre. Le suivi du colis me donne raison, j'ai envoyé des photos pour preuve du seul produit sur les 3 que j'ai reçu et Sony ne fait absolument RIEN en plus de me menacer de ne pas expédier les produits si je fais une réclamation à signal conso. Pour finir, on m'indique qu'ils sont dans leur droit que que légalement ils ont 30 jours donc je dois juste ne rien dire. C'est une honte.

Niet kunnen beoordelen. Product staat al bijna 14 dagen in doos te wachten op Sony/Dynalogic voor installatie/muurbevestiging van TV. Sony/Dynalogic komt echter tot op heden niet in beweging. Teleurstellend.

Great Sound, But Disappointing Build for the Price

The Sony SA-SW5 300W Wireless Subwoofer delivers impressive low-end performance and definitely enhances the overall sound experience when paired with compatible Sony soundbars. The bass is deep, rich, and powerful — when it’s working perfectly. However, I’ve noticed that it rattles at times, especially during heavy bass scenes or music with deep lows. This is disappointing, particularly for a £700 subwoofer, where you’d expect premium build quality and consistent performance. Visually and in terms of material feel, it also seems a bit inferior to the Bose Bass Module, which feels sturdier and more refined. Overall, it’s a good subwoofer with solid sound, but the occasional rattling and build quality concerns make it hard to justify the premium price tag.

Please try the steps below and test again:
1. If there is a device nearby that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a wireless LAN or a microwave oven in use, locate the subwoofer and a compatible model apart from it.
2. If there is an obstacle between the subwoofer and a compatible model, move or remove it.
3. Locate the subwoofer and a compatible model as close as possible.
4. Change the [RF Channel] setting to [Off], and then change to [On] again.
5. Switch the network connection of the TV or Blu-ray Disc player from wireless to wired.
6. Change the [Wireless Playback Quality] setting to [Connection].
7. Unplug the speaker from the mains for 2 minutes, then plug it back in.
8. Disconnect the speaker from the connected device for a few minutes.
9. Try connecting the speaker to different devices.
10. Try playing different contents.

Quality sound

I have had this product for 10 days. It was bought along with the rear speakers SARS5 to connect to my HT-A7000 Sound bar which I have had for a while now. So far I am pleased with all products giving a very realistic theatre sound. I found the additional speakers very easy to connect to the soundbar. I bought direct from Sony online and was very pleased with the speed of service. From my experience to date I would recommend the sound system. Although not cheap it is worth paying for the quality if you can afford it.
